I arrived at Yoga late in life. More by coincidence than by plan. Purchasing Jiwa Yoga in Bali, so it could be rescued, and I would still have a place to practice, I stumbled into the Yoga world. A few courses and I found myself a teacher.
My philosophy is more pragmatic than most. I like to teach every class as if it is my last, with fun and variation. I like the experience to be enjoyable and stress-free. I genuinely believe in the methods of Yoga, to find wellbeing and good health. However, I am an advocate of personal responsibility. I like to allow students to experiment and find their own way. When a student suddenly cracks the code and gets it right, nothing makes me happier than watching that wry smile.
